1.Can serial Ethernet module pass gateway?
Serial Ethernet module can pass gateway and work in outer network. It can cross router and exchanger to communicate with public net server,so as to realize remote data collection and control.
2. Is it bidirectional to convert network to serial?
Serial Ethernet module can realize bidirectional transmission from network to serial.
3. Fail to make serial setup;unreadable serial communication code;fail to communicate
Serial Ethernet module is of TTL level, which can directly connect with MCU IO port. if users want to connect serial Ethernet module with computer,you need to use RS232 to TTL converter. Please pay attention to cross connection when connect serial Ethernet module with MCU.That is to say, RXD connects with TXD,TXD connecting with RXD.
When configure serial Ethernet module in serial mode,users need to earth CFG pin.When configure serial Ethernet module in network mode, users should connect serial Ethernet module with computer in the same LAN,or connect serial Ethernet module with computer directly.
4. Will serial Ethernet module save configuration after configured?
Serial Ethernet module is embedded with EEPROM chip,so serial Ethernet module can save configuration. If power off, users do not need to repeat configuration on the next startup. and data will be sent out after network connection.
