Is the signal strength of the cellular router related to the number of antennas?

 

The antenna is an essential part of the cellular router. There are the primary antenna and secondary antenna in the communication module. The primary antenna is the most critical signal antenna. It is not saying that the more antenna, the stronger signal is. 

 

The signal strength of a multi-antenna cellular router is exceed the single antenna cellular router by 20%. A simple reflect is that after the single antenna wireless router through a wall, it signal only maintains a bar. While after the multiple-antenna wireless router through the wall, the signal maintains leis one or two bar.  And compare the two-antenna router with the four-antenna router, the difference of wireless signal strength is not significant.
