What are the environmental requirements for the installation of cellular routers?

 

Installation of cellular routers usually has no special requirements and can be placed on walls or tables in any space. But to ensure the best performance of cellular routers, it is better to choose a suitable place. For the installation of cellular routers, it is best to meet the following points:

 

1. Place cellular routers horizontally, as high as possible, and as centered as possible (relatively close to PC).

2. Try to keep the antenna upright.

3. Do not place cellular routers in a damp place.

 

4. To get a better reception effect, do not put the cellular router in the corner.

 

5. Keep away from possible sources of interference, such as metal partitions, high-power electrical appliances, etc.

 

 

Establish a connection

Before connecting the cellular router, please first confirm that the power of the cellular router, Ethernet and other equipment has been connected. Then follow the following steps to configure:

Connect the PC's network cable to the LAN port of the cellular router.

Connect the ADSL Modem or other lines provided by the ISP provider to the cellular router's WAN port.

 

Connect the power supply.

Turn on the cellular router and computer in turn.

 

Connect the power supply (including cellular router, hub, switch, modem, computer), and the cellular router will start itself. Once plugged in, the device will complete the boot process in 30 seconds. This process is done automatically without user intervention. The SYSLED will keep flashing after the start-up is completed.

 

Friendly reminder

1. If the cellular router has been connected to a powered ADSL/CABLEMODEM, the WAN port indicator should be on. If the indicator is flashing, it shows that the cellular router is transmitting and receiving data.

2. If the cellular router is connected to a powered-on computer, the corresponding LAN port indicator should be on. If the indicator is blinking, it shows that the network is active.
